Having taken a cake decorating class, I find that I am now noticing all the little details on cakes, such the combination of two different coloured borders, different styled borders on top vs bottom, the presence of just one border, the patterns of leaves and stems that lead up to a patch of flowers, the details in an icing rose, etc…

I’m tempted to take the next cake decorating class, which covers eight kinds of flowers in four 2.5h sessions, but that sounds intense! ||orz These classes are expensive, too…
