This is the cake I made during my final cake decorating class. :) There is so much I could improve on it, but I am pretty happy with how it turned out anyway! The roses were difficult at first but they’re relatively easy once you’ve got the hang of it.
please ignore the half-filled paw print… I took the picture before the cake was complete 8D;;

Haven’t been on Tumblr much (if at all) in the past couple of weeks. Partly because I haven’t had Internet at home since Oct 17th, but also partly because of this adorable, fluffy, ball of fun.
Meet Pepper! She is the sweetest and most snuggly nine week old black lab ever. We picked her up this past Sunday and she’s really starting to warm up to her new surroundings. She hates loud things like cars and my hand mixer, but she’s best friends with her toy bunny. And her bladder needs to grow faster so that I can get more than 2-3hrs of sleep at a time.
I hope you like puppies because I will probably be posting a lot of pictures of Pepper. :D

Woke up to Shania Twain playing on the radio this morning! It was awesome. I made breakfast wraps for Llello and I while listening to 90s music on this old school radio. This radio sits under the kitchen cupboard—it’s great! It came with the house when we moved in and it’s been nice to have while baking or doing the dishes (especially when I’m essentially a loner when everyone else is studying).

This radio is so old it refers to volume as loudness…kind of quirky, eh? “Turn the loudness down!”
Since it’s a rainy Sunday afternoon, I decided to look up a few retro-styled radios. They are so lovely but so, so expensive. ♥ sob.

1. Lexon Mini Dolmen Radio ($42-ish?) 2. Tivoli Model One Radio ($149.99) 3. The Curiosity Shoppe Medium Mooden Radio ($275) 4. Crosley Solo Radio ($99.95)
YAY so excited! so happy with their registration system this year it looks so nice!
ME TOO!
Come visit us in February!
Me three! C:
A few weeks ago I finally sat down and took the time to sort through my entire inbox. That probably included over 2,000 messages, people. (gmail lied when it said 1-25 of hundreds.) That’s a LOT of messages. But it’s all gone now. :D Every single message has either been sorted into the new categories/labels on the left, or deleted. I now sort through emails as they arrive, so my inbox is no longer a big, intimidating mess! yay!
don’t buy starbucks cakepops. they sell them half-baked. unless it was just a fluke that my first cakepop from starbucks was raw
I don’t get my school supplies list until the very first day of classes and then I get to Wal-Mart and everything is GONE.
Also, I love getting new school supplies. They’re so new and clean and not used. *u* I think that’s my favorite part of going back to school.
I think I like getting new school supplies more than some of my friends.
That was my favourite part of going back to school, too. 8D But once university hit, back-to-school shopping kind of stopped since all the stuff I bought in my first year kind of lasted me until my fourth. :| Now I’m not even going back to school ;^;. But I’m working on the same campus. SEPTEMBER WILL BE SO STRANGE. orz;;;;
